TabView (Part 6) – TabView with transparent background


As you can see below, when load a default tab control, you will have a default background with black color for each tabview.

So, sometime you want a transparent background for all tab, so that user can see your beautiful background image. It’s very simple to do that. I’ll use a simple tab control example and insert this function. You insert this code to main activity:

for(int i = 0; i < tabHost.getTabWidget().getTabCount(); i++)
{
tabHost.getTabWidget().getChildAt(i).setBackgroundColor(Color.TRANSPARENT);
}

And the result will like this:
