Setup Eclipse’s environment for Android applications development
To setup environment for Android applications development, you need to do at least 2 steps:
– Install Android SDK
– Install plugin for IDE
In this case, we will setup environment for Eclipse, so of course you have to install Eclipse first all.
To install Eclipse, you can follow these steps:
1. Go to Eclipse homepage and download the IDE you need. You can use any release for Android development.
After download, you can extract it to anywhere that convenient. Not as other IDE, with Eclipse, you just extract the download file and run the eclipse.exe to use it

2. To install Android SDK, download SDK packet from this website: http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html
3. Run the SDK installer
4. After install SDK, we’ll install ADT plugin for eclipse and configure
After install ADT plugin, we’ll configure Android SDK
